No matter where you’re coming from the drive (or flight) provides a sight to see. Whether it be on historic Route 166 or California Scenic Highway 33, the valley offers boundless untouched natural landscape, clear blue skies, and glowing sunsets. With a population of less than 1,500, Cuyama allows for time to slow down and connect to the surrounding nature and the friendly folks from near and far. Take time to explore our mountains, hike through historic cave paintings, plan a trip to see the superbloom in a National Monument, book a farm tour or wine tasting, or just relax and enjoy a meal with a view.
